Pokémon GO: Team Go Rocket takeover
Well, coach? Team Go Rocket Crasht in Pokémon Go once again the party! From the Wednesday, May 14th at 00:00 to Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. (local time) finds the event Kronen-Clash: takeover instead and Team Go Rocket competes with a lot of new crypto-Pokémon; Above all, Giovanni with crypto dialga.
During the event you will not only be able to meet crypto-Pokémon in Raids and Pokéstops, but also do a special research to track down Giovanni-without super rocket radar it won't work! You have to fight against all bosses during the quest, so your Rocket-Radare does not fire out too quickly.

- Team Go Rocket appears more often on Pokéstops and in balloons.
- You can use a charging TM to learn the “frustration” charging attack for a crypto-Pokémon.
- Pokémon from crypto raids of level 1 and 3 have great varying values for attack, defense and KP.

A new special research starts at the beginning of the event. Complete it to get a super rocket radar and find Giovanni! Giovanni fights with crypto dialga from the start of the event. You can grab the legendary crypto-Pokémon until the next Rocket takeover.
You can pick up special research until the end of Pokémon GO: mighty and masterfully on June 3, 2025 at 9:59 a.m. (local time). If you have it in the inventory, you can complete research at any time.

Did you know that you can also give away the ticket to friends with whom you have reached the “super friends” status?
