Profitable “playground” for the Trumps

The family of the US President Gleist in Dubai and other Golf countries in billions of deals in the crypto and real estate business.

The fathers, on the other hand, lead their own family business. One cannot separate one from the other. In various reports, the “New York Times” describes current activities by Eric Trump and Zach Witkoff. The presidential and the son of his special representative Steve Witkoff are in Dubai. Both work together at “World Liberty Financial” (WLF), the crypto company founded by Zach Witkoff, in which Donald Trump are involved as “chief advocat”, the sons Barron, Don Jr. and Eric as “visionary” or “ambassador”.

Zach Witkoff announced on Thursday at a crypto conference in Dubai that a fund supported by the ABU Dhabis government will process a two billion dollar transaction between the state-supported investment company MGX from the Emirates and Binance, the largest crypto exchange in the world with roots in China. A “stablecoin” launched by WLF will serve.

The connections related to WLF and Binance are hardly manageable (the Times has recently published a background report: https://www.nytimes.com/2025/04/29/us/politics/trump-crypto-world-liber…). Key figures such as Binance founder Changpeng Zhao came into conflict with the judiciary, the Chinese crypto entrepreneur is currently sitting in American detention and striving for pardon by Trump, according to the Times (Link).

Two days earlier, Eric Trump in Qatar had announced a new, gigantic real estate project including a golf course and beach villas, in which a Qatarian state company and the Saudi real estate company Dar Al Arkan are involved-a partner of the Trumps repeatedly. A “Trump Tower” in Dubai is planned separately. Eric Trump described the golf metropolis as a “playground for real estate entrepreneurs” and praised friendships that he had linked in the monarchies.

The Trump family is thus getting deeper and more profitable connections with the ruling houses on the Golf including Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom's state investment fund, for example, finances golf tournaments at Trump resorts in the USA.

The US President himself will arrive at the Golf on May 13th on the first visit to his second presidency and traditional centers of power in the region such as Egypt in favor of Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. It is still unclear whether Trump visits Senior Israel (Link).
